Tool/software:
hi team,
my customer is using LDC1101 and they are having some problems on the design:
1. what dose the specific 2.93MHz & 4.27MHz mean in the table? why not other frequency?
2. What does RPD0 and RPD∞ mean ? thanks!

Hello Zoey,
2.93MHz is referring the the resonant frequency of the example coil with minimum target interaction(target at furthest distance). 4.27MHz is referring to the resonant frequency of the example coil with strongest target interaction(target closest to the coil). The minimum and maximum target distances will be dependent on your use case. This chart shows 1 example coil and the shift that is seen as the target is at its minimum and maximum distances.
Section 9.1.4(#2 and #3) of the datasheet define RPD0 and RPD∞. This is the sensors resonant impedance with maximum and minimum target interaction.
