TMAG5273EVM: TMAG5273 EVM

Part Number: TMAG5273EVM
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TMAG5273

Tool/software:

I am currently experiencing issues with flashing the TMAG5273 Evaluation Module (EVM). I am unsure whether these difficulties are due to the fact that my computer lacks direct USB ports, as I am connecting the device through an intermediary element (USB hub or adapter).

Despite following the recommended steps to enter DFU Mode and initiate the flashing process, I have been unable to successfully flash the firmware onto the EVM. The device does not appear to be recognized in the TI Flash Programmer, and I cannot confirm that it is in DFU Mode.

I would appreciate any guidance or troubleshooting steps you could provide to help resolve this issue.

Thank you for your assistance.

Best regards,

  • Hey Javier,

Thanks for considering to use Texas Instruments.  Did you install the PAMP USB driver?  I would start with that.  However, if you have already done that and are seeing a "Tiva Device firmware update" when you look in windows device manager, then you might need to manually associate the driver with the device in Windows device manager.  For that issue, another user found these instructions relevant and helpful: instructions here.
