About the TMP421, I had the question and need to confirm as below:
1. During the I2C communication process, changes the A0 and A1 will produce different I2C Address.
2. Why is half of VCC when A0/A1 Pin is floating? Please help explain the design approach!

Hello Bruce,
1. Yes changing the input for A0 and A1 will change the I2C address for I2C communication.
2. Voltage high and low is defined in the datasheet on page 4. It depends on the VCC. Values between 0.3(V+) and 0.7(V+) define the floating area.

Are you having issues with the devise detecting float for A0 and A1 address? GND and VDD are also options you can choose to tie the address pins to.
