Hi Expert,

We've tested both UARTA and RS232_TX/RX (UARTB) for download, but only

RS232 pins work. After checking TI's forum, we found it only supports RS232_TX/RX .

So we are testing SPI interface via the FTDI (SPI-USB) interface on AOPEVM. But it is not able to do image download as well.

Is the 2nd bootloader (SBL) needed for SPI booting/download? How should we verify it using IWRL6432AOPEVM?

Hello.

You can verify booting over SPI with the spi_boot example in the MMWAVE-L-SDK. Please check out the example in <mmwave-l-sdk install location/examples/boot/spibooting/> for more information and source code. A SBL should not be required for SPI booting/download.
