DCA1000EVM: Problema con el software mmWaveStudio

Part Number: DCA1000EVM
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: IWR1642BOOST

Tool/software:

  • I want to do the demonstration done in one of the videos to use the DCA1000EVM with an IWR1642boost, I attach the images and well I wanted to know in case I want to use it, what default configuration I should do to SW1, SW2 and SW3 of the DCA1000EVM.
I follow the steps but when I am configuring "Static Config", this problem arises.
I am using a DCa1000EVM and IWR1642Boost, with a 5v/2A charger, I know that they recommend a charger with more amperage but for now I have this one. What would be the solution? Any email or number to contact me?

  • Hello,

Have you tried running the LUA Script found in C:\ti\mmwave_studio_02_01_01_00\mmWaveStudio\Scripts? Use and run DataCaptureDemo_xWR.lua. Also we recommend also going over 2.5A to a 5V 3A charger. It's possible there is not enough current to allow configuration.

    Best Regards,

    Pedrhom
