Is it possible to get more details of the frame trigger delay timing for the IWR6843AOP?
In our application, we want to trigger two devices simultaneously using SYNC_IN. One device will be used as a transmitter and the other device will be a receiver. We do not require the devices to be phase synchronised.
The mmwave doxygen states "With respect to the SYNC-IN pulse, the actual transmission has 160ns delay and 5ns uncertainty in single-chip and only a 300 ps uncertainty (due to tight inter-chip synchronization needed) in multi-chip sensor applications as defined in rlSetChannelConfig."
Please could you confirm the timing for the IWR6843AOP, and say if the quoted uncertainty is for one device over many SYNC_IN events (jitter) or for many devices over process variation, voltage and temperature range?
We are mainly interested in the timing variation for one device, as we hope to calibrate out any consistent timing variation between parts.
