TMP100: TEMP100

Part Number: TMP100

Tool/software:

Hello, I am using the TMP100 temp sensor in my board (specifically the full part number is TMP100MDBVREP) and would like to confirm if the memory inside this chip is all volatile, or if some of the memory in this chip resides after power off. I saw some other posts of people asking for a certificate of volatility so i am hoping that all the memory inside is erased once i remove power.

Thanks in advance

  • Hi Michael,

All of the user-modifiable memory in the TMP100 is volatile. The only memory that is non voltatile would be the trim codes which are modified during production/manufacturing testing for internal error correction. If you have any questions about the type or size of memory please let me know.

    Best regards,
