Hello! This is not a strictly AWRL1432 post.
I'm on a team of students working on a product for semi-truck safety. The student largely covering engineering responsibilities is quite busy both academically and personally, so I offered to take up some troubleshooting of which sensor from TI would likely be the best option for us to use. Below is the description of what we need the sensors to do, and hoping to get your advice on which of the different TI offerings would be most suitable.
- We need to be able to detect semi trucks w/ a resolution of 3 centimeters, a range of 5 meters, having a wide field of view.
- We need to able to communicate easily with it (some sort of relatively easily interface-able development board, suitable for a raspberry pi)
- Of all the offerings, which gigahertz offering should we use?
