DRV5023-Q1: Capability of B(OP) for DRV5023BIEDBZRQ1 Hall Effect Sensor

Part Number: DRV5023-Q1

Tool/software:

May I ask if you can provide the capability data for B(OP) (Magnet Field Operate Point) for DRV5023BIEDBZRQ1 Hall Effect Sensor? I have an actuator developed by our supplier, which uses DRV5023BIEDBZRQ1 sensors for position detection. We are have a discrepancy between the engineering tolerance stack-up results and when we observed in production. We are investigating why and the variation of B(OP) is one area we would like to look into. In the datasheet, a min 6mT, a max 24mT and typical 14.5mT of B(OP) are mentioned. We would know the data from the actual production sensors: B(OP), it distribution, variation and capability to understand if it is a factor for what we are seeing. Would you please support for this data request?

Many thanks in advance.

  • Hello Patrick,

Thanks for posting to the sensors forum! Unfortunately, I am unable to support the request since we are not able to share the distribution data for our devices.

If you are able to explain what kind of discrepancy issues you are seeing and perhaps there might be something that I might be able to do to help you out there.

    Best,

    Isaac
