IWR6843LEVM: What does the SOP mean in the TI-IWR6843L EVM User's Guide

In Section 5 of the the User's Guide IWR6843LEVM:

Do you know the SOP0/1/2 pulled up/down means?

I found that when connected to DCA1000 and using the Adc_Data_Capture_Tool_DCA1000_CLI or studio_cli tool in radar toolbox, the settings of the switch S1 are also different.

Hello,

SOP stands for Small Outline Package, which is a type of surface-mount integrated circuit (IC) package. Pulling up/enabling the SOPs in different on/off states allows for different device modes. It is for this reason going from Flashing Mode to Functional Mode and vice versa requires a change in one of the SOP switches.

Hello,

The main two modes that one would have interest in is functional and flashing modes. The third is for debugging. You can check the different modes on the EVM operational modes guide.

SOP definitely means Small Outline Package, but not in this context. I'm also curious if anyone knows what SOP stands for in the context of signals (SOP0, SOP1).

thank you SOP......Sense-On-Power, so many TI Launch Pad docs never actually define that acronym for you. I mean that I didn't get what the pins had been doing it just I couldn't define it in my mind SOP start-0n-pins, ugh, system operate. Maybe its just me but other micros just call them boot mode or boot strap.
