I checked beamforming In Lrpd document.

I'd like to know what does "steering angle" mean?

Take below chart as the example, is Red angle(20 degree) is the "steering angle" ?

I'm very sorry for the delayed response. The "steering angle" refers to the desired angle where the main beam should be directed. Your understanding is correct for the diagram and the subsequent equations, θ is the steering angle.
