AWRL6432BOOST: Regarding "Forcing an Error Condition"

Hi,

Please provide information about "Forcing an Error Condition" as described in Chapter 22.4.4.3 of the "xWRLx432 Technical Reference Manual."

I tried using the AWRL6432BOOST as described, but the voltage on the NERROR pin did not change, and the D9 LED did not turn ON.

Since switches 1-3 are set to ON, the LED is always dimly lit.

Could you please advise how to make the voltage on NERROR change and turn ON the D9 LED?

Hi Masaya,

Check ERROR Pin Status Register (ESMEPSR). This register must be 1 to switch into the error forcing mode. The ESM module cannot be switched into the error forcing mode if a failure has already been detected in functional mode.

Hi Sreedeep -san,

ESMEPSR is set to 1. When in error forcing mode, ESMEKR becomes 1010b, and ESMEPSR changes to 0.

However, the behavior of the EVB is different from what was expected.

Could you identify any issues?
