AWRL6432: Can we implement OA SPI for 10BASE-T1 using AWRL6432?

The OA SPI for 10Base-T1 implementation is possible with AWRL6432 as we have the SPI lines and interrupt pin coming out. The spi host_interrupt signal is muxed with GPIO5. We do not have any reference HW design guides for this implementation.

And also, speed will be reduced in SPI standards compared to 10Base-T1 Ethernet and it will be around 15MHz.

Correction on the above statement. Since the ethernet output for 10Base-T1 is 10Mbps, the SPI operation speed of 15MHz should be enough for the communication.

Hi Kim,

For boot over SPI the AWRL6432 device becomes the slave and hence GPIO5 has to be used. For OA SPI implementation since the AWRL6432 device will act as the master, you can use any GPIO pin. We don't have any documentation for this right now but will let you know if I find one.
