Hello,

I'm searching for an integrated solution for ultrasonic car alarm.

The PGA460-Q1 can be used as motion detector (doppler effect detecion) with a pair of transducers? IC processing seems to me optimized for object distance instead of motion detection.

If there is some example code available, or also a better alternative circuit (also as discrete circuit) can you give me some suggestions?

See the similar post below. You are correct that the PGA460 is intended for time of flight measurements. As mentioned in the post below, you could implement motion detection by capturing the echo data dump and comparing the signal envelope over time indicating an environment change. We don't have any code examples of this, so this software algorithm would need to be developed.
