AWRL1432: Failed with MMWave_factoryCalibConfig

Hi,

My customer made own AWRL1432 board, but failed with MMWave_factoryCalibConfig.

The return value of rl_fecssRfFactoryCal is 0, but failed in below if code.

MMWave_factoryCalibConfig()

It seems some calibration is not PASS. ptrMMWaveMCB->factoryCalCfg.fecRFFactoryCalRsp.h_CalRunStatus is 74 which is not same as 202(0xCAU).

Same code can work ok on AWRL1432 ES2.0 EVM.

Customer has checked the 1.2V and 1.8V power rail and didn't see any drop during test.

Would you pls kindly advise what may cause the problem?

Hi Chris,

Based on the run status, Tx power is not being properly calibrated. I'm looping in HW apps to advise here.

Could you share the specific demo and configuration being used?

Customer is running BSD demo v2.2 with default cfg in the package.

Hello,

Do you have any experience working with mmWave Studio? I ask because I would like to run the TX outpower and the TX Ball break monitors to observe the health of the TX.

I don't think customer's board can connect to mmwave studio. As customer failed at init calibration, is it still ok to monitor the TX power and TX ball break at this condition? Can customer ignored current factory calibration error and monitor TX power and TX ball break?
