Tool/software:
Dear TI engineers, hello!
We are using AWR2243 to design a four-chip cascade radar. We have encountered a problem. Please help solve it:
Currently, the transmitting antennas and receiving antennas of our host, slave 1, and slave 3 chips can work normally, and each transmitting and receiving antenna has data. The three transmitting antennas of our slave 2 can work normally, and the three transmitting antennas of slave 2 can send waveforms, but the four receiving antennas of slave 2 cannot receive any signal data. The antenna schemes of our four AWR2243 chips are the same.
I checked that the host can generate a 20GHZ LO signal normally, the synchronization signal (DIG_SYNCIN) is also normal, and the 40MHZ crystal oscillator signal is also available. The SPI communication of slave 2 in the software is normal, and there is a corresponding interrupt signal (SPI_HOST_INTR1). We checked that the CSI2 signal of slave 2 is also normal. Check that the power supply of slave 2 is normal, including NERROR_OUT, WARM_RST, and NRST are all normal. Judging from the current fluctuation, the receiving antenna function of slave 2 should be successfully started, because when we turn on the receiving antenna of slave 2, the current fluctuates significantly.
How should we check the specific reason why the slave 2 receiving antenna has no data? Can the software monitor the status returned after the AWR2243 receiving antenna is successfully turned on? How to check the raw ADC received by the receiving antenna?
Looking forward to your reply!
Wish you all the best!
