AWRL1432BOOST: ADC data capturing issue using mmwave studio 4.1.0.6

Hi Support Team,

This is the setup that has been followed,
1. Power Up -> AWR1432 powered over USB via Host PC ; DCA1000 -> 5V,2A
2. Switches (both AWRL1432 and DCA1000 were set in accordance to the document "DCA1000_Quick_Start_Guide.pdf" under docs sections for mmwave studio 4.1.0.6
3. mmwave studio (4.1.0.6) - configured in context to "mmwave_studio_user_guide.pdf" and "mmwave_studio_lua_api_documentation.pdf"
- Connection established successfully (RS232, FTDI, SPI and APPSS status)
- APPS and FECS power up (relevant files were loaded) is successful
- RF device control fields were set
- Fields required were set (based on our configuration) under different tabs and sub-blocks (profile, chirp, frame and other configurations)

Later (final step) data capture was started using "Start Record" button and "Stop Record" was hit (after some time duration), this resulted in an empty capture (no contents in adcData.bin)

Hello,

Have you setup the DCA1000? If you scroll left, you need to setup the DCA.

Hi support team,

Yes, I have setup the DCA1000 by providing IP address of the FPGA of DCA1000 after configuring all the parameters of it.

Hello,

Do you get a error message saying Incorrect no. of Samples. If so, it might be related to SW2 setting of the DCA1000

Try using below setting.

Hi Team,

I do not have any error related to incorrect number of samples, instead I couldn't get the correct chirp profile. I have kept the chirp config as entry level blind spot detection configuration for the below postproc.
