Tool/software:
Since the formula is too complicated to calculate correctly, is there any tools that can be shared?

Gary

Hello Gary,
We don’t have any tools published, but we are looking at making some tools eventually. In the meantime I can help you if you are have difficulty calculating the errors.
We also have a video series that walks through the process of calculating errors for our parts: https://www.ti.com/video/series/precision-labs/ti-precision-labs-current-sense-amplifiers.html?keyMatch=current%20sense%20error%20sources&tisearch=universal_search&f-videos=Video%20series
(look through the videos in the section labeled “error sources”)
These videos are for our current shunt amplifiers, but many of the same principles apply to our hall-based current sensors.
Let me know if you have any more questions,
Levi DV
Hello Gary,
The sensitivity error is just a percentage listed in the datasheet. Other additions to the sensitivity error are also listed in the datasheet:
Section 9.1.1 has total error calculation examples that you can follow for your own application, or you can ask questions here to me about the specific questions you have.
We do not have any other published calculators at this time.
