TMCS1126-Q1: Radiation Sensitivity

Part Number: TMCS1126-Q1

Tool/software:

I have a space application (near earth planetary orbit) and need a reliable current sensor.  Is there any radiation test data available for this component?

If not available, can you please expand on the underlying technology so we can understand the risks involved in using this device in a space application?

It appears the hall effect sensor is basically immune to SEE, but the conditioning chain is sensitive.  It would be helpful if you can identify the architecture of this IC and the technology of the amplifier.  If radiation test results are available for the amplifier as a discrete component, that would be very helpful

  • Kenneth,

Unfortunately we do not have radiation data for this device that we can share. Can you share a bit more exactly on the device internals you are hoping to learn here? I will need to discuss with our systems engineers exactly what I can share here.
