PGA305: Measurement temperature range of PGA305

I have a question regarding the PGA305.

Given that the operating temperature range is [-40,150]°C, I would like to know that if the PGA is well thermally insulated (that it always remains within its operating temperature range),
 is it able to measure / compensate a temperature outside its range? (-55°C for example).
