TMCS1133: OC pin

Part Number: TMCS1133

Tool/software:

Team,

In the d/s, it says that if the /OC pin is not used, it connects to Ground.

as i know, the /OC pin is output of the comparator. There's another article mentioned that the pin can be either floating or left open.

I'd like to double confirm which one of above is ok. thanks.

  • Hi Brian,

Yes, you are able to leave the pins floating. The datasheet specifies the best practice which is to GND the /OC pin, but leaving it floating will not affect the accuracy and you can do it.

    Best,

    Holly
