Hi team,

This is Lina covering radar in Korea.

My customer has a problem about "Error: Factory Calibration Failure"

When they downloading the same code to samples made with AWRL6432 ES2.0, after then Error occurred in the process of checking the progress (2 out of 30 samples).

Please check the cause of the error and if there is anything they need to pay attention to in the code to prevent the error.

Error code: -205848574

errorLevel: 2

mmWaveErrorCode: -3141

subsysErrorCode: 0

Also, I found similar error questions regarding factory calibration in E2E, but there was no clear answer.

Hi Lina,

We need to understand what all calibrations customer has enabled and the result status of respective calibration API. Can you please ask the customer to share the configuration and response of MMWave_factoryCalibConfig API in SDK.

Hi Lina,

SDK6.xx.xx.xx is for AWRL6844 and it doesn't support AWRL6432. Can you please double confirm with customer.

Hi Kundan,

They used SDK: MMWAVE_L_SDK_05_05_02_00 and tested mmwave demo code after updating code through SBL.
(C:\ti\MMWAVE_L_SDK_05_05_02_00\examples\mmw_demo\mmwave_demo\xwrL64xx-evm\m4fss0-0_freertos)

And they entered it as "factoryCalibCfg 1 0 40 0 0x1ff000"

Only 2 samples out of 30 samples are continuously experiencing errors.

Hi Lina,

factoryCalibCfg just enables the calibrations and save the calibration data in flash memory. What I am looking for is the MMWave_factoryCalibConfig API response to understand which calibration is failing.

The reason for asking about studio and CCS connectivity is, it is easier for us to get the debug/register data using these platforms.

Thanks for your comments. Now I understood why you recommend to use mmwave studio and ccs.
They can check the API response on mmwave studio, right? I'll ask the customer for it.
