Dear readers,
it is my duty to evaluate the PGA970QPHPR LVDT (linear variable differential transformer) signal conditioner chip to establish a distance measuring which should replace an optical distance measuring sensor used so far in a commercial product (measuring tool).
Main goal of my evaluation should be a performance comparison between the existing optical sensor and a LVDT distance sensor.
To achieve this I decided to purchase the PGA970 EVM - eval module and an USB2ANY interface adapter. The PGA970EVM evaluation module should save me the task to build a custom evaluation board.
It seems the PGA970EVM currently can't be purchased directly at TI. Does anyone know a trustworthy distributor for the evaluation module?
How do I get access to the full datasheet of the PGA970QPHPR? Is any kind of NDA required?
I'd appreciate any help to guide me in the right direction.
