Hi Andy,
Is the customer performing 16-point FFT (1D FFT)? What is their range resolution? Is the customer using their own processing chain?
Regards,
Samhitha
Hi Samhitha Bobba
We perform 1024-point FFT(1D FFT). The figure is enlarged partially. The range resolution is 0.624m. We use our own processing chain.
Hi Longtao,
Can you share the detection matrix over mail to Andy if possible? Can you also send a picture of the scene?
Regards,
Samhitha
Hi Samhitha
I have send Andy the detection matrix. We gather the data in our electromagnetic wave anechoic chamber.
Hi Longtao,
Let me check the detection matrix whenever Andy shares it with me.
Regards,
Samhitha
Hi Longtao,
In the meantime, can you confirm if you are testing in a static environment? The target detected in 9th/10th rangebin has different velocity. Also what do you mean by "angle reversal"? There is another target detected at 13-15 rangebin which also has different doppler. Can you describe about the scene?
Regards,
Samhitha
Hi Samhitha,
I can confirm that we test in a static environment. We use step frequency waveform.
Hi Longtao,
Andy just shared the detection matrix. Let me take a look and get back to you.
Regards,
Samhitha
Hi Longtao,
When I have checked the detection matrix that is shared, I observed that the detection in the adjacent bin isn't a strong peak -
Can you confirm if you are performing Windowing? Windowing might reduce the leakage of signal in the adjacent bins. Since you are using anechoic chamber, I don't think there are multipath reflections.

Samhitha
