I am planning to design a radar using multiple AWR2243s.

In the following document, two chip cascading and four chip cascading systems are illustrated as examples.

Are there any three chip cascading system available?

We do not have any 3 chirp cascade solution for this at the moment.

Hello Saswat,

I understood that currently there is no corresponding three chip cascade system.
So, is it possible for me to design three chip cascade system (one master chip and two slave chips)?

Can you let me know if there is any specific requirement of a 12x9 radar?
I will check with my team if this is possible, mostly it should be possible.

Hello Saswat,

There are no specific requirement of the 12Rx x 9Tx radar.

Currently, I am considering a radar using 2 chips (6Tx, 8Rx) and a radar using 3 chips (9Tx, 12Rx).
In the past, I have designed radar using 2 chips and radar using 4 chips using AWR1243. Therefore, I asked if it is possible to design a radar using 3 chips.

There is no constraint as such using a 3 chip cascade, you can go forward with it.
