TMAG3001: The sensor keep sending me the same values

Hi, I've been trying to use TMAG3001, the sensor doesn't seems to update (i.e. I kept getting the same values) when i use it with other sensors in the i2c mux, although it seems to be fine if I use it with another TMAG3001 sensor. I have triggered a conversion before getting angle measurements.

Thanks for posting to the Sensors forum!

Just to make sure, the other (non-TMAG3001) sensors don't have the same I2C address as the TMAG3001 you are trying to read data from, correct? Just want to be sure there is no unintentional communication to more than 1 device at a time.

Does this happen with other TMAG3001 sensors as well?

They do not have the same address and they are all connected to a mux, so it should not matter. And also, I could connect to 4 TMAG3001 sensors it seems fine. Do you know what can cause this issue? There seems to be no errors from the triggering function. How do I know if new measurement is being made.

Hi Karen,

As you trigger conversions, are you able to read the CONV_STATUS register? This register has a bit that you can read, RESULT_STATUS, which will tell you if a conversion has completed.

Additionally, it also has something called Set_Count which should get updated every time a conversion gets completed. You can also check these bits to see if the conversion gets updated.
