Tool/software:
Hi,
If I keep the HFOV to -60 and +60 and VFOV -17 and +17 so this configuration if I visualize it, then will it create a conical shape for radar in which if any obstacle comes it will be detected?
Thanks,
Manoj

Hi Manoj,
Yes, the field of view is somewhat cone-shaped. It is defined by range, azimuth and elevation bounds.

Hi Nathan,
Is there any document for the same?
In my case I am keeping hfov -50/+50 and vfov is also the same. I am able to detect obstacle in hfov. But in vfov obstacle detects at +50 to 0 degrees but if I go from 0 to -50 I am not able to see the obstacle in that fov.
Thanks,
Manoj
Hi Manoj,
Can you let us know which example software and configuration you are using?
Thanks,
Josh
Hi Josh,
I am using LRPD(long range people detection) and 3d configuration I am using.
Thanks,
Manoj
Hi,
Can you see point cloud in this region? Or not? and can you see tracks in this region or not? Please provide pictures or video so we can understand the situation better.
