Please tell me the current consumed from TMCS1126-Q1 VS pin(Power supply)

    Junehee,

    Thanks for the question and using the E2E forum.

    The Iq for the TMCS1126-Q1 can be found in the datasheet here. On page 11 are the Power Supply specifications. You can see in the screen shot below that the maximum Iq could be up to 14-14.5 mA depending on the ambient temperature, and will typically be ~11mA at 25°C.

    I want to know the maximum current flowing into the VS pin when the TMC is operating.

    It is not the quiescent current.

    Junehee,

    The current flowing into the Vs pin during operation is the quiescent current. The device has nothing additional operating internally that would increase this current during normal operation with current flowing through inputs.

    However, if you are using the device to drive some load from the TMCS1126's output, that output current would need to come from the supply, thus increasing the current seen flowing into the Vs pin.
