MMWCAS-DSP-EVM: Inquiry regarding real-time Processing with TI mmwCAS modules

Part Number: MMWCAS-DSP-EVM
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: MMWCAS-RF-EVM, CCSTUDIO, AWR1843

Tool/software:

Hi. I am working on real-time data capture using the mmwCAS-RF-EVM and mmwCAS-DSP-EVM modules. Specifically, I am exploring the feasibility of adapting sensor configurations dynamically. To achieve this, I need to establish a continuous real-time loop of "Detection -> Processing -> Adaptation -> Configuration Update -> Detection" and I was wondering if real-time processing on the mmwCAS module is feasible.

I have found that it is possible to change RF front-end parameters using Code Composer Studio (CCStudio) with AWR1843. This allows the C code to be compiled and flashed to the chip. While it is possible to modify some chirp parameters on-the-fly (by stopping and restarting the transmission after reconfiguring sensor configuration), achieving real-time parameter changes seems to require modifying the firmware provided by TI.
Additionally, since there are limited resources available for using the mmwCAS modules, so could you kindly provide any insights or guidance on this matter? Any advice you could share would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you again for your time and for sharing such valuable work and I look forward to your response.

Best regards,
Jin
