Im a senior EE student and was tasked to make a red-light runner alert system as a senior project. The team and I decided to use a radar sensor to capture the speed, distance, and location of the vehicles. My question is which would be the best sensor to use to record that data? Were all somewhat new to sensors so we need a beginner/intermediate sensor that we can code, i was looking at the AWR1642 and AWR1843 but was unsure which one to use and if we need extra tools to code it.
