Hi experts,

In the data sheet P.40 it is mentioned that "Supported frequency of Radar SPI Peripheral mode is 40MHz in full cycle and 20MHz in Half cycle mode."

I would like to know what full cycle mode and half cycle mode mean?

Hi,

Half cycle refers to launch in rising edge and capture in falling edge (and vice versa).

Full cycle refers to launch and capture in the same edge.

And how can I set the launch time and capture time?
Is the setting of the capture time refers to the 4 SPI modes with CPOL and CPHA?

Hello,

That is correct. clock phase and clock polarity at the host side allow you to set this. It also depends on host capability if it supports faster clock.

So, 4 of SPI modes are working in half cycle mode in 6432 by default, am I correct? Does TI have the example of full cycle mode?

Hi,

It completely depends on host capability if that supports full cycle, or it works in half cycle.

Sorry for the confusion here. The RADAR device acting as a secondary device supports both of these two modes. If the host is capable of supporting full cycle mode, the device will support that.
