TMAG3001: Iactive current for 0.1ksps and Vcc=2V condition

Part Number: TMAG3001

Tool/software:

I have two questions regarding to TMAG3001:

1. Can TMAG3001 support 0.1ksps rate?  if yes, what's the register setting and Iactive current at Vcc=2V?

2. What's Iactive current at Vcc=2V, LP_LN=5h?

  • Karl,

Thanks for reaching out on E2E.  TMAG3001 offers a wake-and-sleep mode which will keep the device in a lower power state and wake on intervals to perform a conversion.  The various sample rates are shown here:

I'm not sure I understand the request regarding LP_LN mode

I will assume you are interested in the additional current in low noise mode (1h).  We don't have published plots of I_active vs. Vcc, but based on the datasheet table we can extrapolate that the active current should be about 2.83mA if we assume a linear increase in current from Vcc=1.8V to Vcc=3.3V.

    Thanks,

    Scott
