AWR6843AOP: classification

Hi Mayssa,

Can you please share what type of classification you are looking for? Is this for obstacle classification or for child presence detection in-cabin classification or a different application?

We do not have a classifier like that.  Are you trying to detect whether a parking spot is occupied, and if it is occupied, classifier whether it is a car, trunk, a bike or a person occupied this?

It is not the exactly the same thing you are looking for, but it is the closest one we have.  Hope it is helpful to you.

This demo runs on xWRL6432 only.  It will not run directly on AWR6843AOP.  But the same idea should be able to run on AWR6843AOP, which will be customer's responsibility.

the example of people tracking does it use the classification human non-human if not how does it identify if the moving thing is a person non a chair for example?

You are right in the sense that it will be useful to be able to separate a person and a fan inside people counting demo.  But it is not there yet.  People counting demo can separate people vs a table or chair by only detect the object with movement.  Furniture does not move, so the reflection from furniture will be removed after clutter removal.
