Dear TI Team,
In cfarpro (mmwave_mcuplus_sdk_04_04_01_02/ti/datapath/dpu/cfarproc/docs), there is a configuration parameter hwaParamCfg.accelModeArgs.cfarMode.peakGroupEn. However, in the HWA-CFAR data flow, there is no introduction or explanation regarding the peakGrouping process.
Does DPU_CFARProcHWA_process perform peakGrouping? If so, in which part of the process is it implemented?

Here is the diagram from AWR294x Technical Reference Manual (Rev. D) depicting CFAR engine -
CFAR_GROUPING_EN register should be 1 to enable CFAR peak grouping.
cfarCfg CLI command has one parameter to enable or disable peak grouping. Based on the CLI configuration, peak grouping is enabled/disabled in the CFAR paramset. Peak grouping can be enabled in both Range CFAR and Doppler CFAR paramsets according to your requirement.
