AWR1843: Custom AWR1843BOOST based board with OOB demo

Actually we have made a custom board which is based on AWR1843BOOST IC. In this board we have modified the Antenna patterns which is not same as AWR1843BOOST Eval board.

In MRR demo we had callibrated the antenna and updated the callibration coefficients in the MRR demo firmware.

So similarly is there any callibration coefiicients needed to be changed in OOB demo's firmware.

Hai,

So u are saying we should perform the calibration experiment with profile_calibration.cfg file and we should modify the compRangeBiasAndRxChanPhase values in the profile_3d and profile_2d cfg files.

So here there is no need to convert it to Q15 format right as in MRR demo.

Here we should just copy the values which we are getting in mmWave demo visualiser and paste it in the profile_3d and profile_2d cfg files as the compRangeBiasAndRxChanPhase values right?.
