I am attempting to get up and running with development for the IWR1843BOOST. I flashed the prebuilt bin file "Automotive_ADAS_and_Parking\medium_range_radar\prebuilt_binaries\xwr18xx_mrr_demo.bin" using UniFlash successfully. Confirmed it runs by observing feedback on the MRR Visualizer. Now I am trying to build the demo from source and am not having the same success (nothing on the MRR Visualizer).

I imported two projects as below...

This resulted in three projects being included in my workspace...

Are all three of these needed? Or is one of them redundant?

In any case, I performed a "Rebuild Projects(s)", flashed the CCS debug firmware image, changed dip switch to debug mode, and rebooted. I was able to connect with the debugger and single step through the application, so all seems to have loaded correctly. However, when I run, I don't get any feedback on the MRR Visualizer. I how do I begin to troubleshoot this? (Note, I am very new to these devices).

This does not look correct. There should be only 2 projects. Let us reproduce this issue

Hello Ron,

It appears that you are using CCS 20.x, this demo was worked on in that version. Please try version 12.8 and see if that resolves the issue.

I am new to the TI development environment. So, you want me to go back to CCS 12.8 to resolve why there are three projects in the demo rather than the expected two? Seems strange. Wouldn't it be easier just to tell me which of the two dss projects I can delete? (Assuming one of them is indeed the correct one).

Also, I should have mentioned this... I believe I got the demo to work (not sure which dss project was selected). Please let me know if this is correct...
Seems I cannot use the debug environment and the MMR Visualizer at the same time. Speculate that maybe they use the same serial port? I burned the demo to flash, and now it seems to work with the MMR Visualizer. Make sense?

I performed a source compare on the two dss projects. Other than the name of the projects, they look to be the same.
