Hello, TI experts

'sensorStop' and 'sensorStart' are needed to change the waveform profile.

If I want to change waveform profile in radar runtime, how much time does it take to use 'sensorStop' and 'sensorStart'?

(Not using CLI command, like multiple profiles(dynamic chirp configuration?) and change profiles every frame)

Potentially, you can start a different configuration on the second frame without any additional delay. How much time left beween the end of first frame processing, and the beginning of your second frame?

It is the time after CFAR process and before the next Frame Start.

Hi Zigang,

If I add some DPU or feature like Tracker DPU after CFAR, Is the time after the last DPU or feature and before the next frame start?

I have seen people try to change the chirp configuration right after the range FFT is done and before Doppler FFT starts. You can try that too.

Thank you for information and I will try it.

If I change the chirp configuration(it need RF off and on) right after the range FFT is done and before Doppler FFT,

there is no time delay in framePeriodicity I set(framePeriodicity is fixed). right?

Hi, JB:

I do not think you really need to turn RF off and on, you can directly change the chirp configuration using functions like: rl_sensChirpProfTimeCfg. At least I see people change idle time without turn RF off and on.
