Tool/software:
I explored few example demos for 3D people tracking and counting. After few suggestions from TI support team , I understand there is need of sensor calibration before using for 3D counting accurately.
For sensor calibration I used procedure mentioned at ti/mmwave_sdk_03_06_02_00-LTS/packages/ti/demo/xwr68xx/mmw/docs/doxygen/html/index.html#Calibration_section. Summary snapshot below.
Issues observed:
- Device programmed with ‘out-of-box’ demo. Used calibration profile from \ti\mmwave_sdk_03_06_02_00-LTS\packages\ti\demo\xwr68xx\mmw\profiles\profile_calibration.cfg
- Tried with visualizer tool placed at \ti\radar_toolbox_2_30_00_12\tools\visualizers\Applications_Visualizer\Industrial_Visualizer , could not calibrate.
- Tried using https://dev.ti.com/gallery/view/mmwave/mmWave_Demo_Visualizer/ver/3.6.0/ .
- Tried sending commands with advance command option

- Could not upload calibration profile , webpage throws error .
Support required:
- Provide proper guidelines document to calibrate sensor.
- Provide video of sensor calibration
- Short call / meeting to explain calibration.
- We need to understand all issues observed during calibration , exact procedure. I plan to purchase few more sensors and do not want to face these types of issues.
