Hello, i am currently working with the IWR6843ARQGALP SoC and have been using a manual switch to put the device into boot mode. I was wondering if there is a way to achieve boot mode without using physical switch. For example, is there a software command or configuration that can trigger boot mode?

If anyone has experience with this or knows of a method to accomplish this, I would greatly appreciate your insights.

Hi Salmen,

Could you please share your SOP circuit to change the boot mode? If you have any GPIO connected to the SOP, you should be able to drive the SOP pin High (3.3V) and Low (0V) with the help of GPIO. Currently TI EVM does not have this feature to change the SOP mode with software.

With the solution you provided, is the GPIO able to drive a Low state to disable boot mode while the system is in boot mode?

Hi,

Can you please clarify on "disable boot mode"? Do you mean to set the SOP2 low? Yes, however you need to perform a NRSET after driving the pin low for new SOP mode registration.

I would recommend to DNP/NC R202.
