FDC1004QEVM: PC does not recognize

Dear team,

My customer bought FDC1004QEVM and try start evaluation. But their PC (tried 3PCs) cannot recognize the EVM. They said device manager shows nothing.

They have already tried to install GUI which is mentioned in the user guide, but the driver install wizard did not appear. 

Q1: If PC recognize it what name of device will appear on the device manager?

Q2: If PC does not have the driver. What device will appear on the device manager?

Q3: Is there any way to install device driver without GUI install process?

    Hi YK,

    1. Device manager should show this as "USB Serial Device" as shown below.

    2. I have seen in another post where it shows up as a HID(human interface device).  If this is shown, the driver was not installed.  

    3. Yes, you can find the driver at the directory below if the GUI was installed in the default location.  Please try manual installation of the driver.
