Could you help confirm whether the film on HDC3021QDEHRQ1 needs to be removed?

    Hi Gareth,

    Yes, the HDC3021 has a removable protective tape that is meant to protect the sensor during assembly steps such as conformal coating and PCB watch. The tape must be removed after assembly for accurate measurement of relative humidity in the ambient environment. Please refer to the datasheet for more details.
