OPT3101: static current-drive mode

Part Number: OPT3101

Tool/software:

on page 83 of SBAS883A –FEBRUARY 2018–REVISED JUNE 2018, in the field descriptions of register 0079h, bit 3, the description is

"Use ILLUM_EN_TX0 for TX1. This mode is required to enable static current-drive mode."

0: TX1 is controlled by SEL_TX_CH | 0: TX1 is selected when TX0 is active."

Both options are 0. I assume that is a typo.  I'd like to see the illumination enable signal on TX1 while TX0 is driving an LED.  I toggled bit 3 and nothing happened.  I have a 1k pullups on TX1 and TX2.  They look nearly identical and very different than TX0.  Is there some other register I need to change?

Also, is there a more complete description of "static current-drive mode." somewhere?
