LDC2114: LDC2114EVM and GUI software 1.10.0

HI, I find the GUI software with Windows very unstable. Updating the EVM to configure mode works only from register display sometimes and data streaming only once after restart of the software. Is there any udpate to the GUI software that would be more useful ?

    Kari,

    I am sorry you are experiencing problems with our GUI software.
    You have the most recent version of the GUI.

    Be sure the GUI shows the EVM status is Connected before and during use.

    On the Configuration page, also confirm the selection for Channel Sequencing Mode (Repeat Single Channel meas. or Seq. Chann. measurements) is consistent with the check-boxes in the Measurement Timings/Enable column. For example, if you want a single channel measurement, be sure only one Enable box is checked, or if you want sequence channel measurements, be sure more than one Enable box is checked. If the selections aren't consistent, it may cause a delay as the GUI tries to work with the choices. 

    I tried some experiments and the streaming page was initially intermittent for a single channel and two channels, but that was corrected by switching the plotted data type from Capacitance (pF) to Raw Code or Detected Sensor Frequency and back to Capacitance. Not sure why this happens, but the behavior was consistent over f ew trials.

    Hi John,

    thank You for reply but this does not help as no options are available in GUI Configuration page when using LDC2114.

    Also for plot window, there is no selection for capacitance.

    What is the GUI You are using ?

    I am using the latest version of the Sensing Solutions EVM GUI Tool v1.10.0.

    I have only FDC2214's to work with at the moment, and the GUI's Configuration page looks like this:

    Dear John, that seems to be totally different chip so my issues are not there. With LDC2114 the operation is laggish and plot page works only after cold start once, after new settings it does not work at all. I have reprogrammed the evkit with no improvement. is there some drivers or other supporting software that is needed for the Sensing solutions to work on Windows 11 ?

    Let's make sure the GUI and EVM are synched.
    Does the GUI identify the LDC2114 via the Device tab?
