We are looking for an mmWave based system for short range applications. The desired working range is around 10-15 cm with a resolution of 0.2-0.5 cm. Surveying the available options provided within the AWR and IWR families, I see the minimum resolution can be as low as 4 cm. Is there a way to further push down this resolution with these chip families.
The IWR6843AOPEVM seems like a good starting point for our applications.
