I'm currently working on implementing the calibration process for the IWR6243 2-chip cascade device, as outlined in the following application note:

This document includes detailed phase shifter accuracy plots for Gen 1 and Gen 2 devices (specifically, the AWR1843 and AWR2243). Is there a similar document from TI that provides such plots for the IWR6243?

Additionally, the application note provides TX phase shift calibration temperature correction LUTs for the AWR2243 (covering the 76–77 GHz and 78–81 GHz bands). Can TI share equivalent LUTs for the IWR6243 (60 GHz band)?

If not, could TI provide guidance on how to generate these phase shifter accuracy plots and temperature correction LUTs for our IWR6243 2-chip cascade setup.

    They are the same for both 6243 and 2243.

    For the 6243, the sequence is as follows:

    1. Restore the calibration data

    2. Issue a profile config with RETAIN_TXCAL_LUT and RETAIN_RXCAL_LUT set to 0

    3. Issue a runtimecalib config API with OLPC/one-shot calibrations enabled and all periodic calibrations disabled

    -  In addition, force specific temperature indexes to specific temperatures, using table 3-1 for reference with the following values changed:

    • Recommended Temp Index for low bias LO DIST codes to 5 degrees C
    • Recommended Temp Index for mid bias TX Gain Codes to 45 degrees C
    • Recommended Temp Index for mid bias LO DIST codes to 45 degrees C.
