DCA1000EVM: Clarification on Frame and Chirp Relationship in mmWave Studio with DCA1000EVM and xWR6843AOPEVM

Hello,

I have been using the mmwave_studio_02_01_01_00 software with the DCA1000EVM and xwr6843AOPEVM combination.

I have a question regarding the relationship between Frames and Chirps, as shown in the image below. Is it that one Frame contains 128 Chirp signals? Or does one Chirp signal contain 128 Frames?

I would appreciate clarification on the relationship between Frames and Chirps.

Hi Kim,

Please note that each frame contains 'n' number of chirp signals, not the other way around. From the above image, you have 256 frames data, and each frame consists of 128 chirps. Hope this helps!
