IWR6843: mmWave Studio bin data storage structure

Part Number: IWR6843

Tool/software:

Hello,

I have been working with the mmWave Studio and I have taken some measurements in a bin file.  I have read https://www.ti.com/lit/an/swra581b/swra581b.pdf?ts=1742876953504, but I still have some questions regarding complex data and how it is saved. If it is real, the data is in two complement and 2 bytes long and non-inerleaved. However, if the data is complex, is it still in two complement but every sample becomes 8 bits instead? I would understand so by reading the bin file given that in the documentation the first position is the LVDS lane 1 sample1, the second LVDS lane 1 sample 2 and so on. This is not mentioned in the guid

e so I would like to make sure, in order to analyze the data correctly. I am shooting 100 frames, 64 chirps per frame and 256 samples per chirp with 4 receivers. So how should I shape and  read my data?
Thank you very much.
Best regards,

Daniel
