Hi TI team,
as you might already know Tacho signal is corrupted when PWM is used to cut the GND connection to FAN.
Example circuitry: LM85/LM96000 Evaluation Board User’s Guide
LM96063 datasheet claims that it can handle such a corrupted tacho signal and provide accurate RPM values even in that case. Is enabling Smart-Tacho mode sufficient for this or are there other measures which needs to be taken?
