Just out of curiosity - is the plan to monitor fault through ALARM pin?
The schematic looks good to me. We do recommend a snubber on the output pin as shown below. It may not be matter for this application, but just in case. The values are 500Ohm + 10nF.

Yes only fault monitoring is required and I think it can be only done through ALARM pin, correct?
Added SCR pin monitoring to MCU. Also added zener at ALARM pin as the internal logic I believe works on 5V. Anything else that can be done to monitor fault?

Yes the internal logic is 5V. The ground fault can be monitored on ALARM according to section 7.4.2 of the datasheet.
