AWR6843AOP: How to store ADC into L3 along with fake HWA

Hi experts:

Now I want to store ADC into L3. For saving time, I'd like to do it under current sdk framework. Specifically, I want to try the scheme that adc -> HWA(dummy operation) -> store it into L3.

So my question is how to set HWA as dummy operation.

Hi, Stan:

You can program hwaParamCfg to

1) have same input data (hwaParamCfg.source)

2) Modified output data (hwaParamCfg.dest), because it will be 16 bits real, instead of 16 bits complex

3) Disable the operation in the hwaParamCfg, for example, disable FFT: hwaParamCfg.accelModeArgs.fftMode.fftEn = 0;

There maybe more than one hwaParamCfg, you will need to decide remove them as needed.

You will also need to change the range FFT output EDMA programming to transfer 16 bits real data.

I'd like to know why output data is modified as 16 bits real (mentioned in 2). As far as I know, AWR6843AOP device supports a complex baseband architecture and the adc samples is 16 bits complex.

My fault. I thought it was for AWRL6432. In your case, the input should be 16 bits complex and the output is also 16 bits complex.
